Shito hesitated. The numbers were overwhelming, too large for him to think about. Not really. His convictions were personal, and his world small in comparison to this. Did Karakael really rule an entire galaxy with so many worlds?
He didn't really have an answer, except to shrug. "Okay, so the world is complicated, and it sucks. The fact that lots of people do it, and you can't stop them, doesn't make it right. All I really care about is myself, anyway."
He glanced at Karakael. "And if you're just going to whine about how hard it is to rule the galaxy, maybe you should give it up and let someone else do it."
